Mike is our Commercial Director.

 

His focus is on providing support and advice on the overall development process with key input into funding and business planning. 

 

Mike specialises in providing financial and commercial advice and fundraising on large infrastructure projects, primarily in the waste and energy sectors. This advice is provided to procuring entities, developers, contractors and funders, as well as providing strategic advice and other support to governmental bodies. He is an expert on innovative contracting and funding structures and advising on more efficient delivery of services and effective use of assets. Mike’s industry and commercial expertise is combined with over 25 years as an accountant.

 

Until October 2018, Mike was a Director within Grant Thornton's Government and Infrastructure Advisory business, where he led their Energy & Environment advisory business. He has provided commercial and financial advice on over 30 waste and bioenergy projects in the UK, Middle East, Southern & Eastern Europe and the Caribbean.
