Neil Bruce OBE, DBA, MBA, CEng
Neil is Sustineri’s Chairman.
Neil brings 40 years of senior executive experience, which includes extensive track record in the delivery of world-class projects and mega-projects to key clients around the world in the resources, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
Neil started his career in the North Sea Basin with Brown and Root delivering ground breaking offshore mega projects for 10 years. He then moved to Atlantic Richfield where he delivered full life cycle offshore gas development projects. He then spent over 20 years in public company environments with Amec Plc, latterly as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, before serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of SNC Lavalin until 2019.

Neil served as Co-Chairman of the Partnership against Corruption Initiative within the World Economic Forum. He is also a visiting Professor at Aberdeen Robert Gordons University, was Chairman of UK Trade and Investment sector Oil and Gas Advisory Group, and served as Chairman of the Offshore Contractor’s Association.

Neil is a Chartered Marine Architect and a Member of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects. He holds an MBA from Newcastle University and an Honorary Doctorate in Business from Robert Gordons University. Neil was awarded an OBE for Services to Engineering in 2012.
