Whilst the Sustineri process is highly innovative, all of its component parts are tried and tested technology engineered in a custom configuration.
Technical delivery has been demonstrated and the componentry has been used on several world scale projects.
Sustineri are currently working with the technology providers and the component manufacturers to define the scope of the FEED process.
In our process we use the same well proven front end processes as other sustainable (and existing fossil) fuel projects to produce a syngas from our feedstocks.
This syngas is further processed to produce an intermediate product after the syngas stage which can then be further converted directly into gasoline or Jet A1 product with the same quality and performance characteristics as that produced from existing fossil fuel production processes, but with a much reduced environmental impact - we utilise carbon dioxide as one of our inputs.
The process also allows for the production of other high value products using the same technology platform where economics allow/dictate, providing an in-built flexibility that future proofs the technology in a non-hydrocarbon fuel future.
